From Dec. 25, 2016 through Jan. 3, 2017, reservations are available only for two nights minimum stay. On other weekends, preference is given for two-night reservations although a few rooms may be available for single-night reservations on ski-season holidays. A $20 cleaning fee is assessed then for single-night stays, though we'll still greet you with the same free smiles.

POLICIES

Smoking:
The BrazenHead Inn is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any of its guest rooms, pub, dining room or gift shop. Smoking is permitted on the porches.

Anyone who smokes in the guest rooms will be asked to leave promptly, without the benefit of a refund. Groups of rooms are heated with one forced air system, thus if you smoke, your neighbors will be smoking that same cigarette along with you. No one will be happy, and you’ll soon be out of a room. We don’t want that to happen, so just don’t do it! Thank you.

RESERVATIONS

Room Reservations:
A credit card, telephone number and address is all you need to make a reservation. For holidays and when booking multiple rooms, a $25 non-refundable deposit (plus $3 tax) is required for each room at the time of reservation. During the Christmas holiday and ski season, a non-refundable $75 per room deposit (plus $9 tax) applies.

Walk-ins for rooms are welcome anytime we have rooms available.

Whole or Partial Inn Advance Reservations:
We welcome tour groups and conferences. Our conference room is adjacent to the main building, and can accommodate up to 35 people. Smaller conferences can be accommodated in the dining room. We can host conferences if reservations are made at least 2 weeks in advance. Special meal accommodations and menu entrees can be provided on advance request as well.

We can accommodate up to 65 people for overnight lodging. We have 20 rooms, 36 beds: 15 queen, 14 full, and 7 twin.

We can serve up to 61 people for dining during the winter months, and up to 77 people (including outdoor seating) during the summer months. We have 8 bar seats, 53 indoor table seats, and 16 outdoor table seats.

Arrangements to rent all or multiple-room portions of the inn should be made at least 45 days in advance of the selected dates. The full amount of room rental is due within 14 days of your receipt of confirmation. In some cases, an additional damage deposit may be required 14 days prior to your stay.

CANCELLATIONS

A $25 fee will be charged for all reservation cancellations. If you must cancel, please do so at least 72 hours in advance of the reservation date. This will allow us time to re-book your room (or rooms). If cancellation is within 72 hours of the reservation date, you will be charged the cost of one night's stay for each room that is reserved but not re-booked. Likewise if you neither call nor arrive to claim a reserved room, you will be billed for one night's stay.

Please understand that your room is prepared for your arrival, regardless of any other circumstances. Again, walk-ins are always welcome when we have room but your reservation assures that your room will be ready when you arrive, and that assurance requires your acceptance of our reservation and cancellation policy.

Meals: For whole or partial inn reservations, meals can be part of a custom package plan. Ask for specifics when you call.

Special Dinners and Parties: Groups of 12 or more may make reservations for special dinners or parties. Menus will be created to suit your party’s needs and desires. A 20% gratuity will be added to the cost, before state tax.
